'The moon ripples and I see the shadow of a branch moving in the ink black pool'
This poem, written on an C18th porcelain bowl from Jingdezhen, China, inspired me to combine my drawings in the marshes with screenprint designs for ceramics. The reflections of the branches in the water and the light from the moon are a constant source of wonder.
