Puddingmoor Original Painting - framed & glazed

Sarah Cannell creates vibrant paintings of the marshlands that she loves on the Norfolk Suffolk border. The tracks, meadows and dykes are forever changing under broad skies. She aims to capture an essence of the East Anglian marshes rather than a literal depiction — a poetic interpretation of landscape and place.

The works are created on heavy watercolour paper and then colour is built up alongside line and texture up using water based medium. Starting with an inky compositional drawing and expressive marks to create tiny paintings with energy and colour.
